Guides such as Paul and Alex have helped guests through the many handoffs, but confirm your pickup time, bring your passport, and prepare for sharp turns and a very long day.

“This makes for one very long day, but the organization of everything from transportion to tickets is spot on. This company really had it together. I was impressed. Yes, it is rather pricey and could be done cheaper. However, for the convenience of everything already put together for you and having someone to help along the way. Is definitely worth it. Glad I chose this tour.”

“This was such a long day… it started with a 7 hour drive to Nazca City, then we did the flight over the lines. The flight was tough. We felt so sick and didn’t expect all the tilting. They took us to a restaurant that was pretty good, but it wasn’t included. Then we drove to Haucacina for sand boarding and the dune buggy. That part was pretty fun and we enjoyed that. Then the 7 hour drive back… phew it was exhausting. Our guide was the best, though.”

Leave Ica at 6:30 am for Nazca, then board a six-passenger plane for a 35-minute flight over the spider, monkey, hummingbird, condor, and other geoglyphs. English and Spanish support is available. The flight is the highlight, but transport timing and airport waiting can be uneven, so plan carefully.

The ride from Lima takes about six hours each way, and airport fees, a tourist ticket, meals, and possible weight surcharges are extra.

“The driver was excellent. I would have preferred more English speaking as requested but he did an excellent job answering g questions with google translate. The plan took 5 passengers. My mother 84 years of age was seated in the back row . She saw very little because the windows were tiny . Disappointed to hear that was her experience . We also climbed the observations tower saw a museum and had Lunch at a local restaurant . I’d recommend this tour- the drive is long from Lima but worth it.”
